What a week of insanity. We have the agency that is charged with operating and maintaining the property of our country has run amok. Acting like they are omnipotent and self celebratory in a time of anti-government retrenchment. Next we have the Secret Service, an agency that has a long history of heroic service to our country seems to have members who are more intent on servicing themselves in Columbia. And today I read that the FBI and the Justice Department conducted a 9 1/2 year investigation that points to abuses in the FBI Forensics labs.
It just keeps looking more and more like our government and economy have reached such a size and a level of arrogance that we the people are just a nuisance. So what is being done to bring things under some semblance of control? Well lets see, we are focused on the start of the NFL season, focused on what faux celebrities and pundits are doing and saying. We are focused on the shooting of 17 year old and the right to "stand your ground" when threatened.
As a country we have been directed toward things to distract us and we need to work as a country to find our way again.
